No.
However, some still do, my son has a couple of them. I believe his luck only to choose a style that is today the opening of doors.
Good luck looking for them!
Simply to avoid the cheap. In the past 20 years the price of a Hot Wheels car has not improved much. 20 years ago, a Hot Wheels was perhaps $. 69 each, still around U.S. $. 99. Compare this to the gasoline used to be less than $ 1 per gallon more then $ 3 per gallon today.
Manufacturers have made austerity measures to keep prices low, not only austerity measures in the material (plastic now than die-cast), and where they (China now instead of U.S. or England), but also in the design features, such as opening doors.
